Getting started

Installation​

  • Install application from monday.com apps marketplace.

  • Add Planning Poker view to the board.
    Navigate to the board, click 'Add View' and select 'Apps'.

    In search box type 'Planning Poker' and press 'Add View'. Add View Planning Poker

First use​

Configuration​

Open Planning Poker view, and press setting button in top right corner.

For minimum configuration select:

  • Estimation Column: estimation result will be written to that column.
  • Participants: users that will be voting.
  • Optionally set Facilitators: when set only those users will be able to review, write to board or restart estimation.

Voting​

Participants can enter their votes without seeing votes from others. 'Check' icon indicates that other participants has placed their vote.

Review votes and write to board​

When everyone voted press review button to reveal votes. Application will calculate result based on selected algorithm, you can modify result and then press 'Write to board'.

If another round of voting is needed, press 'Start again' icon to restart voting session for specific item.
